Last week Anne worked with Ashlyn to create a little mail box that we can leave little notes in.  Ashlyn put it on her dresser.  Yesterday morning, I left her a little note telling her how much I enjoyed being her Daddy.
When I got home this is what I found on her chalkboard in our family room.

Emily is beginning to master the English language.  She can say pretty much anything she needs to say.  Usually Anne & I are able to understand her, but on the rare occasion we aren’t, Ashlyn serves as our interpreter.

I put Ashlyn’s Prayer video up on GodTube.com a few months ago and sort of fogot about it.  Then I just went back yesterday & couldn’t believe the number of people who have seen it - over 47 thousand.  It’s gotten a lot of comments, too.  Pretty cool.

Last night, we decided to head to Chili’s for a mid-week family dinner out. As I was pulling into the parking spot, Ashyln yelled out from the back, “Hey, Daddy? Where’s the playground?”
